wouldn't it be super nice to have a map of what the city looks like
well
that kind of sucks because i only have the general idea
alright so i went over this with moji because we are [insert good-friends.png]
so i may as well post this general thing here for right now until i can throw together a concrete map
ahem
so basically due to the fact that all of the most-loved cities and most-well-designed places are places like new york city, luxembourg city, london, and rome, we're taking a page out of those books (except they arent books you fool)
so what do i mean by that? oh its that they all have compact housing, running water, and shops that you can kinda just walk to
uhh
so the buildings are pretty simple; made out of clay, and kind of plain (except for the carvings people start putting in them later because wow that might say 'penis' in the ancient language but it looks cool) and basically if youve ever played that mobile game godus those houses that are on the beach? stack them into a farmer/builder city-house thing then shazam that's what you've got and that's what they look like except there are a lot of them. and i mean [insert a-fuckton.png]
so heres one image of like. a general idea
they're all stacked and there are bridges and stores everywhere and hot diggity DAMN
it also has lots of like. stigmas and stuff. hanging from the thing. the. walls. yes that is the word. walls.
theyre all really colorful and it kinda reminds me of how those flag things are hung all over skyrim
the top has the big glass dome that's really thick so you can see the sky above and it's really fookin cool
its tinted so its safe from the sunlight killing literally everyone but also allows you to see like. all the stars. all of them. its like you don't have light pollution. oh wait. you dont. the city only has natural light. and during the night, they still don't have much light in there. congrats. you can look at the stars.
anyhow so the city is this huge open cavern with buildings and all that stuff built on top; the buildings are not carved into the stone. they think that looks really stupid. because it does. this isnt minecraft. that isnt how this is gonna be going down. thats dumb
but uh. first floor for most of the city area is like. shops and all that. some of it is for treating food, or selling pretty stuff for your home. no one ever wore clothes. except during the age of kindle, when they wore armor. but the only one with armor anymore is broken. because he fought in the war. and hes still alive. yeah
anyhow they didnt sell many interesting things but that can change since everything is changing now

so yes hello okay
there are tunnels beneath weaving beneath and they actually are organized but its in a way that the lower class understand (plus mischief because she is one of them in her heart shut up). and um. there are lots of little caves. and things. basically, think the underground tunnels in pokemon diamond/pearl/platinum, with the secret bases and all that. except there are multiple layers and they don't use the tunnels for mining because that's stupid they can literally just get diamond from the sky and gold/jewels from trading with other races because apparently their abundance of diamond-working stuff is actually really good for trade because the shadiir can literally get rid of the cleavage in the diamond and its like

but thats all i can really think of right now and im kinda going on a tangent here but if anyone wants to submit ideas for the general map area then you can do that and itd be nice but otherwise i'm just gonna draw it on my 3ds or something at some point in my life when im notscreaming into the void busy with other stuff
