Alright, so we all know that we aren't going to get anywhere with... well, from the date of this announcement posting, four active members (Blain, Project, Zenix, and myself), two who have posted at least one thing but are currently inactive (Broken and Moji), and two members who joined and... have done nothing else (Malis and... dinkleburg?).
So as you might assume, I've been thinking of taking action on this.
Now, I can't pay for legitimate advertising (can you imagine advertising these forums though?) so we're just going to all have to work together to get more people online. All... four of us.
If any of your friends like roleplaying (and are active) then encourage them to join! If they ask for more information (snrk) then explain how it's basically about dragons on a massive planet and you can throw in whatever information you want. But bring up how well-developed the sciences and storylines behind all the characters are! And also, don't be rude to people (that's my job).
Friends at school who like writing? It's a way to expand their writing horizons. People on other roleplay sites? It's a roleplay to check out when their current ones are inactive. I don't know!
Trust me, I've been trying myself.
But basically, I want active members on this site.Once this announcement has been taken down, I'm going to remove the completely inactive accounts, (unless their referrer asks for an extension period on their behalf), and a while afterward, I will likely suspend the other inactive accounts. (However, it may be that I will only suspend Moji, since Broken is staff, and I'll just... temporarily demote them of their 'General' status)
Eventually I'll have a system for doing this kind of thing. But for now, our goal is to get this forum active. I'm not going to let this die as quickly as my dream for a IV-bred, fully-trained Ghost-type team (which isn't fully dead but still). So please encourage people to join.
So it's long past the period of time now. Inactivity is being monitored, so please make an attempt to do anything on the forums. Thank you.
